Get your own web address

Open Vehicles, then Settings, and press Get it on the Get your own web address card.

Who can do it: Admin Admins, when your company has no web address of its own yet, such as when you signed up without ticking Give us our own web address.

Your people sign in at the app's main address. Your own address is made from your company's name, and opens the app in your company's name. The main address keeps working too: it's the same account.

Steps

  1. Open Vehicles, then the Settings tab.
  2. The Get your own web address card shows the address your company's name gives.
  3. Press Get it. It's ready at once: the card shows Open, and says "Your web address is ready."
  4. Share the new address with your people, and bookmark it.

If something goes wrong

  • No card on Settings: your company has a web address already, or you aren't an Admin. Managers and Viewers don't see it.
  • The address has a number at the end, such as 2: another company already has that name's address.
  • You want a different address, or to change it: ask your provider.
