Put your logo and colour on the app

Open Vehicles, then Settings, and on the Your brand card pick a colour and upload your logo and home-screen icon, each saved at once.

Who can do it: Admin Admins of a company that buys the app directly. If you bought it through a provider, your provider sets your brand: ask them.

Steps

  1. Open Vehicles, then the Settings tab. Your brand is the first card.
  2. Colour: tap one of the 12 colours. Buttons, highlights and the menu take it.
  3. Logo: press Upload logo and choose a PNG or SVG file, up to 512 KB. A PNG must be at least 512 pixels wide.
  4. Home-screen icon: press Upload icon and choose a square PNG, up to 512 KB, at least 512 × 512 pixels. Phones show it when the app is added to the home screen, and browsers show it on the tab.

To go back to the app's own logo or icon, press Remove beside it. To go back to the app's own colour, pick the red, the fifth colour.

Where it shows

  • At your own web address, the one the card names, for everyone who signs in there. Open it again, or reload it, to see the change.
  • In your emails: invitations, alerts and reports carry your colour, and your logo when it is a PNG. Most email programs can't show an SVG logo, so with one the emails show your company's name instead.

If the card says to get your own web address first, press Get it on the Get your own web address card above it: your brand shows there.

The name under the home-screen icon is your company's name. To change it, ask your provider.

If it doesn't work

  • "The logo must be a plain SVG image, without scripts or embedded pages." Save the logo again as a plain SVG, or as a PNG.
  • "The home-screen icon must be square, at least 512 × 512 px." Crop the picture to a square and upload it again.
  • The file is too big: save it smaller, under 512 KB.
  • You don't see the Your brand card: only Admins see it, and only for a company that buys the app directly.
