You don't need a password: you can always sign in with a code we email you. Set one if you'd rather type a password, or reset one you've forgotten. Both are done the same way.
Steps
- Open your app's address and press Sign in with a password instead.
- Press Forgot password?
- Type your email, if it isn't there already, and press Email me a link.
- Open the email and press its link. It works once, within an hour.
- Type it in New password and New password again, and press Set password.
You can now sign in with your email and this password, or keep using emailed codes.
Good to know
- Setting a new password signs you out on every other device.
- Nobody, including support, can tell you your password or send it to you. They can only help you reset it.
- No email after a few minutes? Check your spam folder. You can ask for a new link once a minute.
